I absolutely love this – I can't get the pictures to show up though. Do you happen to have it saved in a PDF? I'd love to have it. Thanks in advance. WVU_Alesha @ yahoo dot com
Wow!Thanks for sharing your version.
I love this! The pictures aren't showing up (same as comment above) do you have another version I can use? i'd love to make this!talesfromtrish@gmail.comthank you!
Love the handles you used. Where can I purchase them?
Love this bag! Thanks for the post. The picture of the layout of the hexagons is not showing up though. Would you mind to repost or email me the pic? Thank you!!! brookeciarletti@gmail.com
Thanks for this tutorial. I have got to the stage in your last photo but I'm a bit confused. Do I sew the lining in before sewing the side of the bag up? I'm not sure about how to deal with the bottom corners too. Any light you could shed would be fab.
Yes, Melanie, you sew the lining in before sewing up the side of the bag. The bottom corners have to be coaxed into position, pinned, and sewn.
In row 3 it won't lay flat its curling a bit. Should there be a C in between the leaning towers
Where do I get purse handles and what size do you recommend?
Dear Bullied: The company I bought the handles from was acquired by this company: http://bittersweetbasketsandsupply.com/I bought the leather handles with dowels in either the 20\” or 24\” length strap.
Dear Bullied,As for round 3 not laying flat, try finishing one motif and see if it blocks flat. Also, check your gauge.I hope that helps. You're taking me back a few years!
My daughter is always teasing me about my “old bag-bags”. This will send her over the edge, but I love it!Sherry in Vermont
