Knitting on into the Night

Wednesday night I met with Lisa, Elizabeth (joining the knitting night life this week), and Marianne. Left my camera at home, so no pix for this post. Sorry!

Lisa is working on an adorable baby bolero from the One Skein book. She’s finished one front and the back (with a pretty eyelet pattern). It is so cute. The fronts and back are knitted in one piece then the sleeves. When it’s finished, you pick up stitches to make a ribbing around the whole bolero.

Elizabeth is finishing her version of a forever sweater. She was down to the final 2 1/2 skeins of yarn (bulky with low yardage!) with the sewing, button bands, and collar to go. I think she’s going to make it. If her daughter doesn’t wear it (who it was initially intended for), she will! Then onto new knits!

Marianne is working on a sweater in Berroco Touche Yarn. It’s a creative endeavor that she’s having fun with.

I’m working on golf club covers for my father for Father’s Day. I had to write a pattern, because clubs are bigger than they used to be. When my husband saw the covers I’m making for my dad, he exclaimed that he likes my dad’s better. I think this means I’m making another set of golf club covers!
