Ktog

I met with Rose, Liz, Miriam, and Susan today. It’s so great to keep in touch. Beth and Clea you were missed.

We had show and tell. Rose was interested in the Online Book Club Idea.
This is what I was thinking. If you’re reading a book you’re enjoying (or not!) and want to share, if you heard about a book and want to know if anyone else has read it, and/or if you read a book and would like to discuss it post a comment to a post in the book club category and I’ll put it in the blog. I love sharing book titles with friends and family. I love to read.
You may be wondering how I fit in my love of reading and obsession with knitting. Books on tape (or cd). There are many ways to get them. There is Simply Audio Books, Audible Books, Ipod Store, your local public library, and of course book stores.
Rose has been busy knitting and crocheting while visiting her kids. Boy has she been productive…. The buttons on this sweater are a little stick figure that’s so cute!

I loved her reverse stockinette on her blue tank. I want her to show me, I liked hers better. It’s a great “basic” tank shape, sits just right.

Her Doris Chan crocheted sweater came out awesome.

Here’s a picture of a baby sweater Susan made and this great Cottage Creations Rambling Rows blanket. COTTAGE CREATIONS by Carol Anderson are small booklets. They have detailed instructions, diagrams, illustrations, and drawings. These patterns focus seamless knitting and little finishing work! Miriam made one too and is making her own pillow version with some odd balls of yarn.

Liz made this great shawl, I tried to take a close up of the yarn to better show the effect, it came out wayyyy too close!
