Veronika is a swoncho (sweater/poncho) that would be versatile in cotton/linen as a transition piece or wool/blends for cool summer nights and crisp fall days.
Per the designer, “Veronika is light and swingy, not at all fitted yet with snug cuffs that make her easier to wear than a poncho. She’s easy to throw-on over almost any outfit, so you’ll find yourself reaching for her again and again. The front and back curves are created using short rows. After the curves, everything is joined, and the pattern is seamless and circular all the way up.”
Techniques covered will include a provisional cast on, the yarnover method of short row shaping, and a smooth bias bind off.
Prior to the class starting, Pam will meet with you (via Zoom) to check your gauge and assist with measuring your swatch.
