I’ll look for any excuse (reason) to knit with Noro yarns. The color variations in their skeins are incredibly compelling. Noro has a wide variety of yarns with different fiber blends to suit your climate.
This is a great pattern for beginners and experienced knitters alike. Beginners will learn to pick up stitches, slip stitches, and work a three-needle bind off (or optional Kitchener stitch).
This is a portable project while you are knitting the individual squares. You can customize the size of the blanket based on the number of squares you knit. Knit with 12 squares, the blanket will be approximately 57” x 40”.
During this class you will learn the basic techniques of log cabin knitting.
Advanced Beginner Skill Level: must be able to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, work basic stitch patterns with combinations of knits and purls, and follow written instructions.
Class meets Saturday, April 1 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
