Knit City has been organizing knitting events in Vancouver, BC for 8 years. In 2020, they will host their first show in Montreal. The four-day Knit City Montreal will have the same fun events, workshops, and marketplace that knitters have come to love from Knit City Vancouver.

The package rate includes round trip transfer on a coach bus, hotel accommodations, access to our private knitting room (knitting help available), dinner for 2 nights, breakfast for both mornings, and access to the 24-hour fitness facility (during knitting breaks).

Workshops and other events available Friday March 27 through Sunday March 29.

Knit Social gratefully acknowledges that the event takes place on unceded Indigenous land.

MARKETPLACE

The world-class Marketplace will feature indie yarn dyers, local yarn stores, fiber farmers, knitwear designers, notions makers and more.

The Marketplace will be open to the public Saturday March 28 from 9am-5pm and Sunday March 29 from 9am-4pm.

Marketplace admission will be $12/day. Saturday and Sunday Marketplace admission is complimentary with the purchase of any workshop.

WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS

Workshops in advanced hand knitting and fiber arts will be offered by some of the industry’s top instructors. Workshops will run from Friday March 27 until Sunday March 29. Full workshop schedule will be available December 2019 (date tbd).

Itinerary

Friday, March 27

7:00AM Coach bus departs from Fairfield, CT.

Hop on the bus for a relaxing ride up to Montreal. Sleep, knit and chat to your hearts content.

2:00PM Possible activity TBD.

4:00PM Check-in to the hotel.

6:00PM Meet in the bar for pre-dinner cocktails.

7:00PM Dinner.

Saturday, March 28

7:00AM Buffet breakfast.

The day is yours to enjoy Knit City at Le Center Sheraton; a very short walk from our hotel.

1:00PM Optional: Join a group for a walk and shopping around Old Montreal.

6:00PM Meet in the bar for pre-dinner cocktails.

7:00PM Dinner.

Sunday, March 29

7:00AM Buffet breakfast.

The morning is yours.

12:00PM Coach bus departs for trip home.
