Spellbound

The combination of hand-dyed yarns in two color brioche is, to me, spellbinding. I love looking at the contrast of the two colors as they play off each-other.

From the moment I saw these two colors from 7th Floor Yarns, I knew that they had to play together. The colors are named Egyptian Princess and We’re in the Navy. There is so much depth to these colors, I love looking at them.

Spellbound is an infinity scarf that incorporates increases and decreases to create the wavy lines. The lines alternate leaning left and right.

The scarf is knit flat, beginning with a provisional cast on, then grafted together with the Kitchener stitch.

My friend Xoli took beautiful pictures for me. She does great work considering I am an awkward subject. I think I was trying to look aloof here. Good thing the scarf is the focal point.

Thank you to Anne, Keri, and Robbie who have tested the pattern.
