Countdown to the Holidays

Allison knit up the Tucker Hat for her niece in Baah Sequoia (Super Bulky: 100% Merino, 85 yards). It came out really cute and only took one skein! She accented it with a snap-on pompom.

She showed off her Anzula treasures.

Calann had a series of dropped and mis-stitches on her Tressage Sweater. She’s knitting one of the sleeves on double points and the stitches are dropping off the ends.  Going forward she’s going to put point protectors on the needle tips.Yarn: Anzula Squishy (Fingering: 80% Merino, 10% Cashmer, 10% Nylon, 385 yards).

Her Christmas Stocking was back from the finisher.

Her granddaughter is going to love the pearl necklace and gold sparkle in her hair!

Mallory finished Rock the Pompom in Katia Azteca Milrayes (Aran: 53% Wool, 47% Acrylic, 197 yards). She found it to be great travel knitting, once she got the rhythm of it, she couldn’t stop knitting.

She began the heel of her Christmas Stocking. Clock is ticking down to Christmas!

Jane B shared the Anzula yarn and Adobe pattern she bought from the Westport Yarns Trunk Show.

Her Double Basketweave Cowl is coming along nicely. Yarn: Sincere Sheep Luminous DK (DK: 85% Wool, 15% Silk, 330 yards).

She bought yarn to knit a Cowl pattern Danni is designing in KFI Luxury Collection Albina (Bulky: 80% Nylon, 20% Polyester, 383 yards).

Trammi was knitting the ear of her Humphrey Bear in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (Worsted: 100% Wool – Targhee-Columbia, 140 yards).

Cindy finished the back of her Super Bulky Vest.

Eleanor is almost finished with her Making Waves Poncho in Berroco Bento (Aran: 80% Merino, 20% Silk, 98 yards).

Cornelia had drama over the weekend where a lot of stitches fell off the needle, and rows upon rows unraveled. She put scotch tape on the stitches to hold them in place until I could restore them. Now she will put in a life-line every 10 rows or so to guard against future mishaps. Pattern: Easy Folded Poncho; Yarn: Modern Cotton (DK: 60% Cotton, 40% Rayon, 335 yards).

She was wearing the Vivacious HI-Lo sweater.
Harry is not too pleased to share the sofa with my Humphrey Bear.
