This sweater was designed with the Kanso aesthetic in mind, based on the 7 Japanese Aesthetic Principles. Kanso is the simplicity or elimination of clutter.
Cindy had an illegal u-turn in her Elephant’s on Parade Blanket. An illegal u-turn happens when you put your knitting down mid-row and then when you pick it up, you turn and knit back versus finishing the row. You get a hole in your knitting and your rows are uneven.
