So let me get this straight, Apes in Gibraltar like macaroni?

Calann is going to knit Flap Happy Two in  Azteca Milrayes (Aran: 53% Wool, 47% Acrylic, 197 yards). She’s got her pom-pom already picked.
She began picking up the stitches for the sleeve on her Tressage Sweater. Yarn: Anzula Squishy (Fingering: 80% Merino, 10% Cashmer, 10% Nylon, 385 yards).

She finished the Unice Unicorn Hood and gave it to her granddaughter. Best compliment ever, “It’s Magical, Grammy”. I could not have said it better myself.

Maddie finished her Agnes Sweater  in Brooklyn Tweed Loft (Fingering: 100% Targhee-Columbia, 275 yards) and couldn’t be happier. She knit it a size up to be really roomy, so she can were it over a coat.
After working on size #4-6 needles (Agnes), she is delighted to knit the Purl Soho sweater Classic Knit Jacket on #15’s! She cast on and knit what you see in the picture during the course of our 2-hour class! Yarn: Super Bulky Lanecardate Feltro

This sweater was designed with the Kanso aesthetic in mind, based on the 7 Japanese Aesthetic Principles.  Kanso is the simplicity or elimination of clutter.

Cindy had an illegal u-turn in her Elephant’s on Parade Blanket. An illegal u-turn happens when you put your knitting down mid-row and then when you pick it up, you turn and knit back versus finishing the row. You get a hole in your knitting and your rows are uneven.

She wanted to revisit her Super Bulky Winter Vest  and figure out where she is.

Allison finished the back of her of Agnes Sweater. She was inspired by Maddie’s finished sweater which is coincidently in the same colors.
She finished the Tucker Hat. She held Plymouth Baby Alpaca Chunky double (Chunky: 100% Baby Alpaca, 110 yards).

Cornelia has been knitting away on her Churchmouse Easy Folded Poncho knit with Modern Cotton (DK: 60% Cotton, 40% Rayon, 335 yards). Since Tuesday, I have heard that she dropped stitches and lost a lot of ground!

Jane B worked on her Double Basketweave Cowl in Sincere Sheep Luminous (DK: 85% Wool, 15% Silk, 330 yards.)

Random comments of the day:
-Put baby powder in your shoes for increased comfort (whether or not you wear them with socks or barefoot).

-“Apes in Gibraltar like dried macaroni but if they misbehave and have a record, they are sent to Scotland?” The conversation around the table was like a game of telephone.
