You see, Mary was happily knitting her Easy Breezy Dress until she hit a bit of a snag in her yarn…
Or a big tangle as the case would be. I worked on it for a bit. It was really the two Jane’s who saved the day.
Prior to stepping up to the tangle, Jane B. was swatching for my Sailboat Colorblock Cardigan in Shelter (Worsted: 100% Targhee-Columbia, 140 yards). She was getting 17.32/4″ on an #8 needle and needs to be 15/4″. She swatched on a #9 and got 16 sts/4″. I’ll modify the pattern for her.
Jane T. continues to work on the sleeve of her daughter’s sweater coat. Yarn: Cascade 220 (Worsted: Superwash Wool, 220 yards).
Eleanor is swatched and ready for Motif. The pattern is solely charted which will be an adventure. She’ll put in markers to make it easier to follow the repeats.
Nan wove in ends on her Trendsetter Boxed Rib T Scarf before sending it to the finisher to be blocked. That made sense since she was a “captive audience” in class. Yarn: Transitions Lux Kit (Light Fingering: 49% Cotton, 47% Acrylic, 4% Metallic, 620 yards).
Then she picked up her chevron blanket. This is such a crisp looking pattern stitch. Yarn: Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash (Worsted: 100% Merino, 218 yards).
She needed a unknit stitch fixed on another top down. Yarn: Anzula Cricket (DK: 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere, 250 yards).
