It was at this point that Allison quietly asked her, “Why don’t you just knit a poncho?” 😏
Cornelia persevered and was able to move forward with her #23 Cabled Tunic front. Then she split a stitch and thought she had one extra and her cable would be off. It was a simple fix. She’s begun shaping the armhole. Yarn: Plymouth Baby Alpaca Chunky (Chunky: 100% Alpaca, 108 yards).
She finished knitting the body of Humphrey Bear in Shelter (Worsted: 100% Wool – Targhee-Columbia, 140 yards).
The next step required removing the provisional cast on and grafting (Kitchener Stitch) the two pieces together.
