Once I got into the pattern, Ishbel, it really did knit up quickly. The pre-blocked size was 44″ across the wingspan and 17″ down the center.
After blocking it, the wingspan was 62″ and the center spine was 21″. I was impressed with how far it blocked out. Since the pattern for the smaller size only calls for 330 yards, I have a decent amount leftover. I was nervous about knitting another repeat and then being caught up short.
I really do love the pattern.
