The yarn is Classic Elite Firefly, a Linen blend. In preparation for blocking it, I did some research on blocking Linen and Linen blends. Cold water was the way to go. For some reason I decided to read the instructions on the wool wash bottle. It said to let the garment soak for a minimum of 30 minutes. I have never soaked anything for more than 3 minutes so that was news to me.
Here’s my Radian Yoke by Wendy Bernard all done. It needed blocking because there were some stitch irregularities – especially when I was working stockinette flat. My purl stitch is definitely looser than my knit stitch.
