Hats and Flowers

I started and ended the day with classes at Knitting Central.

This morning was the follow-up class to the Flap Happy Hat.
This is Jill’s second hat. Her first hat was the largest size and she had enough yarn to start a second hat in the next size down. (yes, there is only 1 i-cord, we were excited about how it was turning out).

Each hat was knit with Tahki Torino Bulky.

Jenny knit hers without earflaps and made random stripes in three colors. Everyone was so happy with their hats.
Tonight was the second class for the Artyarns Kaleidoscope Crocheted Scarf. Everyone’s scarves are developing nicely. Here’s a picture of the two different colorways.

We worked on joining the flower strips. There were several different interpretations of how to go about it.
They all had their merits with interesting difference. We all agreed the flowers were more fun!
