Michelle and I were on our own today. She’s working on the front of her Sublime hoodie and thoroughly enjoying knitting it. The directions are well written, everything is spelled out. That is unless you add words that aren’t there.
She read a part of the shaping as happening every other row, so when I looked at it, I saw it the same way. Obviously the math just didn’t add up when you add words that aren’t there. Finally after a closer inspection we read it properly. Too much coffee? Not enough coffee?
The rest of the shaping sounded like a math word problem where you’re the bus driver and how many people get on and off at each stop. There were so many combinations of at the same times that we almost had to make a flow chart. It was spelled out right, we just can’t read!
